Tropical Storm Cristobal: National Hurricane Center Upgrades Depression, Warning For Bahamas

Update 2 p.m. EDT: At 2 p.m. EDT, Cristobal was 145 miles east-northeast of Long Island, Bahamas, and 185 miles east of Great Exuma Island. Original post: The National Hurricane Center Sunday upgraded a tropical depression to Tropical Storm Cristobal. The depression battered Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic with rain and the NHC issued a warning for the central and southeast Bahamas.
